The Alpine Museum of Chamonix / Chamonix Museums

The Alpine Museum of Chamonix exhibits an accurate and very interesting history of Chamonix Valley. The Museum exhibits numerous geologic pieces linked to the history of the valley and its early inhabitants. Chamonix Alpine Museum is open everyday. Between the 20th of December and 1st of June, the museum opens its doors between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM and between 1st of June and 15th of October the opening hours are 2:00 Pm until 7:00 PM.
