Les Houches ski area is set in a superb natural landscape, between 950 m and 1900 m altitude. Here, the total surface area of the ski slopes stretches over 23 hectares and when needed, they are covered with artificial snow by 110 artificial snow canons.
Les Houches is a mountain resort set in the valley of Chamonix, on the right hand side coming from Geneva. From the top of Les Houches one can admire the 360 degrees panorama of Mont-Blanc massif. There are plenty of restaurants and apres-ski places as well as ski slopes inviting all winter sports lovers – boarders ans snowboarders, skiers, telemark skiers or cross-country skiers. this is an area recommended for beginners and intermediate skiers. There are two short slopes on top of Prarion and Bellevie Cable Cars.
There are plenty of drag-lifts for snowboarders. Every Thursday ski is for free on Tourchet skiing slope.
On top of Les Houches Cable Cars and Chairlifts you may find the Le self de Bellevue la Chalette restaurant (reachable by Bellevue Cable Car) and L’hôtel du Prarion (reachable by Prarion Cable Car). Along the skiing slopes you will find the following refuges and restaurants: La Cha, La Tannière, Le Terrain, Les Vieilles Luges and Le Hors-Piste.
Le Brevent and La Flegere ski areas are recommended for beginners, intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders. Cable Cars, Chairlifts and ski slopes.
